Katelyn & Sam
The Valley Estate Weddings – Brisbane’s Best Luxury Wedding Venue
One of Brisbane and Gold Coast’s newest wedding venues – and also one of Brisbane and Gold Coast’s best wedding venues if you’re planning to indulge in luxury for your wedding. Be warned though, as it doesn’t come cheap. But nothing that’s the best-of-the-best ever does, and who’s going to judge you for going all-in for your wedding? Situated just 5-10 minutes from Currumbin beach, and approximately 1.5 hours from Brisbane, it’s got everything you need onsite, and some beautiful photo spots that are pretty unique to The Valley Estate – the driveway lined with cypress trees, the lush greenhouse, the quirky little chapel, or literally anywhere outside the Manor.
Katelyn & Sam’s Valley Estate Wedding
I first met Katelyn and Sam at Katelyn’s brother’s wedding – the legendary wedding of Vaska and Jackson. So I knew epic weddings run in the family, and we were definitely in for a treat. Katelyn and Sam were so relaxed on the day, apart from Sam having a bit of a sore ankle from an accident earlier in the week. They had a short and sweet wedding ceremony in the chapel, and we feasted afterwards on the woodfired grill. Lamb chops, chicken wings, and corn-on-the-cob – some of the best post-ceremony grazing I’ve ever had, and we may have spent a bit too much time snacking as the sun set for some couple photos. The reception started, and that’s where the legendary Carlile-wedding energy came alive on the dancefloor.

How many guests can I have at The Valley Estate?
The Valley Estate can host up to 100 guests maximum, with the option for micro-weddings and elopements from Monday to Thursday.
Where can I get married at The Valley Estate?
The Valley Estate has two main wedding ceremony locations, and multiple other options around the grounds. The Chapel is a non-denominational, air-conditioned chapel with antique oak pews and beautifully stylised glass windows. And the stage you’ll be standing on is raised, meaning your guests can have a proper view of you during the ceremony. The Glasshouse is a one-of-a-kind venue in Brisbane, with floor-to-ceiling glass, hanging plants, and fully air-conditioned for comfort. Note that if you opt for the Glasshouse you’ll only be provided with 40 chairs, with standing room for any extra guests.
What’s the catering like at The Valley Estate?
The Valley Estate wouldn’t be one of Brisbane’s best wedding venues if there wasn’t good food options. You have the option of four main menu packages – and an extra option of creating your own custom, curated menu with their chef. On top of that, they have an endless list of food add-on options (which seriously excites me). Pizza, paella, dumplings, tacos, yakitori, grazing tables, an Argentinian grill, oyster bar, seafood, spit-roasted meat, and a gelato cart. Nobody is leaving hungry.
What other services does The Valley Estate provide?
The team at The Valley Estate have seemingly provided everything you need for your wedding. Two separate on-site locations for getting ready, on-site accommodation with three bedrooms with ensuites, with breakfast and brunch provided while you get ready. Later on during the night, they offer a coach service for your guests to the Gold Coast, so you can safely get to your after party (if you’re crazy enough).
