Katrina and Chris’ Wedding in Georgetown, Colorado

When Katrina first messaged me about her wedding in Colorado, I thought it was a scam. And then when we met up to talk about the wedding, I was a bit more convinced it was legit but thought it might still be a scam in the back of my mind. Then I was somehow on a plane to the USA, walking along the streets of Denver, and driving up the Rockies to their wedding. It’s probably legit. I’m still waiting for the catch.

As someone who grew up in Australia, shooting a wedding in freezing temperatures, throwing snow around, and walking on a frozen lake were definitely firsts for me. Katrina and Chris live in Brisbane, but Katrina grew up in Denver, so their wedding was an intimate affair, surrounded by old family and friends. And a couple of Brissy boys definitely not used to the cold.

To say the least, this was a special wedding, one I’ll never forget, and one I’ll always be appreciative of.
